Meeting Site and Lodging
The meeting will be held at the Hôtel Château Laurier in Québec City, located just outside the city walls. The old city is a stone throw away, with its narrow streets, old houses (by North American standards) and uncanny European feel. Not to mention the fine restaurants, museums, and nightlife, all within walking distance.
We negotiated a special price ($159 CAD/night) for meeting participants. Reserve early to ensure availability, as several major events are also scheduled to take place in Québec City around the dates of Neutrophil 2018.
For participants planning to arrive earlier than June 1st, we secured a limited number of rooms at the Château Bellevue (8 min away from the Château Laurier by foot), at the same discounted rates. Should you find yourself in that situation, the Château Bellevue can be contacted here.

Québec City
Founded in 1608, the Old Capital (as it is called locally) is the craddle of French civilization in North America. The name traces its origins to an Abenaki word meaning “where the river narrows”. Québec is the only city in the Americas north of Mexico that still features fortified ramparts. A majority of the buildings located within the old city walls date from the 17th and 18th centuries, giving Québec its particular flavor. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
